I found the staff very cute and helpful. The new refurbishment work didn't disturb my stay. the room was decent sized and very clean! full english breakfast was cooked fresh for me. the hotel's location is close to the tram stop on harrow place, offering easy access to the town centre.

The floorboards were a bit creaky at times. It's a minor detail though.

my room was on the second floor, and i have mobility issues, so i struggled with the stairs. there was no hot water, and the shower was freezing. lights shone through the curtains all night.

I found the staff very helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was standard. I appreciated the location away from hustle and bustle. It allowed me to park close by. The breakfast was good with a lovely chef.

there was no hot water available. I was told the water was warm, but it was freezing cold. The heating only came on after 4.30pm, made the room uncomfortably cold.
